DO I NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR CRYO T-SHOCK?

HOW LONG DOES A CRYO T-SHOCK SESSION LAST?

Once you are checked in, we like to fully educate our clients and help with any questions they may have before they begin their session. Once your session begins, depending on your area and type of treatment, it will last between 30-60 minutes.


WHAT SHOULD I DO TO ENHANCE MY SESSION?

Pagani, who manufacturers the Cryo T-Shock device, strongly recommends vigorous exercising for 30 to 60 minutes following each treatment to aid the body’s metabolic elimination processes. Exercise will keep it elevated and continue to deliver additional oxygen and nutrients to boost skin elasticity. If you are unable to get in a workout, a 30 minute NormaTec session is include with each treatment. It is also beneficial to combine whole body cryotherapy with Cryo T-Shock sessions.


HOW MANY SESSIONS DO I NEED FOR RESULTS?

All bodies are different, and there isn’t a one size fits all answer to this question. The number of session is based on what you are hoping to achieve and which area of the body you are treating. A member of our Glacial Peak staff can provide you with an estimated number of sessions for your personal needs after speaking with you and viewing the treatment area.


IS CRYO T-SHOCK PAINFUL?

Session are not painful, and some clients even describe it as rather pleasant. The cryotherapy portion of the treatment is very bearable, and the massage techniques of the device throughout and the thermography provide a sense of relaxation. The sessions have been compared to a hot stone massage.


HOW OFTEN CAN I DO A CRYO T-SHOCK SESSION?

Depending on the location and type of treatment, we like to let your bloodstream and lymphatic system dispose of your cells naturally to optimize your results. However, most areas are able to receive treatments up to twice a week. It is also recommend to focus on one body part per session to allow for proper drainage and avoid overwhelming the body’s lymphatic system.


HOW LONG DO THE RESULTS FROM A CRYO T-SHOCK SESSION LAST?

Every single body is different, depending on the individual and their diet, lifestyle, and even genetics, results may last several months to several years. For those who receive treatments to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, cryofacials are recommended for maintenance.


WHO SHOULD NOT USE CRYO T-SHOCK?

Those who are pregnant, have kidney disease, severe diabetes, or are undergoing dialysis or chemotherapy. No Botox within two weeks and no fillers within four weeks.
