FAQ: NormaTec Compression Therapy
DO I NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR NORMATEC?
Pre-booked appointments are preferred for all of our services. Although, we do accept walk in appointments for whole body cryotherapy based on availability. To book an appointment please call us at (701) 532-0759 or click here.
HOW LONG WILL MY FIRST NORMATEC SESSION TAKE?
Once you are checked in, we like to fully educate our clients and help with any questions they may have before they begin the compression therapy. After your Normatec session begins, it will take 30 minutes to finish the cycle.
AM I ABLE TO USE MORE THAN ONE ATTACHMENT AT THE SAME TIME?
During a NormaTec session, you are able to do the leg and arm attachments at the same time and the hip and arm attachments at the same time. Each attachment area is considered a separate service.
IS NORMATEC COLD?
There is not a temperate change during a compression therapy session. NormaTec uses compressed, room temperature air, generated from it’s own system.
WHO SHOULD NOT USE NORMATEC COMPRESSION THERAPY?
Those who have pulmonary edema, severe atherosclerosis or other ischemic vascular diseases, extreme deformity of the limbs, acute thrombophlebitis, congestive cardiac failure, deep vein thrombosis, lesions or tumors in the vicinity of application, limb infections that have not received antibiotic coverage, lymphangiosarcoma, or untreated wounds. Also, NormaTec should never be used on the area of a broken bone or fracture that has not fully healed.
